Insulation Performance:
When filled with ice, it keeps ice cold for 12 hours with virtually no melting; after 36 hours, some ice still remains floating.
When filled with freshly boiled water, it maintains a water temperature of 90°C after 6 hours and 55°C after 24 hours.
The insulation and cooling performance depends on the amount of ice used and the frequency of opening; adding the included kettle cover can improve both effects by more than 30%.
